Now you can specialize in insurance during vocational training

The insurance industry is constantly changing, it is one of the most powerful sectors of the Spanish economy, and could be a good employment option for young people.

Why work in insurance?

With 96% permanent contracts, it is one of the 10 best paid sectors in Spain, it offers international careers and has a 52% female workforce. In addition, 84% of the workers who are already employed in the sector say they feel ” happy” working in this field.

The insurance industry is both stable and resilient, with the flexibility to adapt to the new rules of the game resulting from changes in consumer behavior and the emergence of new lifestyles in recent years.

To train young technicians to help meet these needs, we promote the vocation training Dual Insurance project, a program that in the academic year 2024-2025 will be endorsed by the Departament d’Educació of the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Consejería de Educación e Investigación de la CCAA de Madrid, the Consellería de Educación, Investigación, Cultura y Deporte de la Generalitat Valenciana and Junta de Andalucía, Consejería de desarrollo educativo y Formación Profesional.

Young people will be able to take a Higher Degree in Administration and Finance with additional training in Insurance, meaning they will graduate with a Technical College degree in Administration and Finance; in addition, they will obtain the Level 2 Insurance Distributor Certification, a qualification that is valued very positively by insurance companies and insurance mediators.

They will obtain both of these awards by taking their Higher Studies in dual mode. This combines classes in the educational centers with in-company training, and includes an increased number of paid internship hours.
