Intrinsic value

This term is associated with fundamental analysis and value investing.

The intrinsic value defines the actual price of a company based on the sum of all the tangible and intangible elements surrounding it, from its accounts and cash flows to its position in the market, its competitive advantages, and its competition.

The intrinsic value of a stock does not necessarily correspond to its market price.
