The stamp duty tax (in Spanish, Impuesto de Actos Jurídicos Documentados or IAJD) is a tax that is applied to notarial, administrative, or mercantile documents.
It is one of the taxes associated with the purchase of a home. In Spain, its cost differs from one autonomous community to another.
