Global Money Week
Global Money Week (GMW) is an initiative from the OECD International Network on Financial Education. It is held each year to improve the financial literacy of young people.
The ultimate goal of this campaign is to ensure that all children and young people have access to good quality financial education, learn about money matters, and can make smart financial decisions that will improve their future financial resilience and economic well-being.
As its official slogan Learn.Save.Earn indicates, the purpose of GMW is to empower children and young people, helping them learn how to manage their money wisely and understand that saving can be a win-win for them and their families in the future.
Since its launch in 2012, this initiative has reached more than 53 million children and young people in 176 countries around the world.
