HICP

The HICP (Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices) is the Harmonized CPI. This indicator is used to measure the evolution of the prices of products and services in a country.

The difference between the CPI and the HICP is that the latter is harmonized across all European Union countries following the same methodology, which makes the data more comparable.
